The research says, the capsaicin found in chillies has the ability to kill some cancer cells. Besides, chillies may also help to battle common colds and prevent stroke and obesity.

 

3. Helps your heart

 

Chillies are also known to reduce cardiovascular risk. The lower the risk of heart attacks and stroke as hot chillies reduce the damaging effects of LDL (bad cholesterol). Capsaicin is also said to fight inflammation, which is a major factor in heart problems.

 

4. Reduces Blood pressure

 

A recent study has shown that a compound in chillies has the ability to lower blood pressure. It also was shown to induce blood vessels to relax.

 

5. Reduces anger levels

 

Spicy foods are said to boost the production of serotonin (feel-good hormones), which helps ease depression.
